Nutrition Tips for the Holidays…
Well tis the season to be jolly….yes it’s that time of year again!!  Thanksgiving & Christmas is here already and this seems to be the holiday season where most of us seem throw the good diet out the window…turkey, stuffing, cranberries, cookies, apple pie, pumpkin pie, fruit cake, egg nog, and plenty other great foods grace our presence during this time. Well to prepare yourself for the festivities do a little extra cardio and watch your carb intake. A few low to almost zero carb days before events is a good way to help keep you on track with your diet. Don’t forget to drink plenty of water to help keep you from overeating…the water will fill ya up not to mention flush your body. So go ahead and have a good time with family and friends with less guilt by preparing yourself. Start today to prepare yourself for this Thursday’s Thankgiving feast by cutting your carbs and doing extra cardio as I will be doing the same…although Thankgiving I mainly eat only turkey anyway I will be able to treat myself if I choose to.
